TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The execution is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
